Nomadsland: Social Video for Social Change Nomadsland is an innovative video platform and production company joining forces with social entrepreneurs and nonprofits to curate, create and distribute visual media that tells inspiring stories of social impact. Indego Africa extends to Nomadsland our deepest thank you for its production of the Indego Africa mini-documentary, "The Color of Indego: Empowering Women in Rwanda" (January 2010). ACADEMIC PARTNERS Harvard Business School Harvard Business School is currently conducting a case study about Indego Africa's efforts to scale up its innovative operations, which will be taught at HBS starting Fall 2010. Indego Africa was also proud to participate in the 2010 HBS Immersion Experience Program (IXP) where, in January 2010, a team of HBS students and professors traveled to Rwanda to help Indego Africa further develop local market strategies, conduct product market research, refine the business skills curriculum, and advise on the women's entrepreneurship projects. New York University School of Law Indego Africa partners with the Law & Social Entrepreneurship Association at NYU Law to expose law students to the growing field of social entrepreneurship; inspire ideas for innovating the legal sector; work with lawyers and law students to identify how they can use their legal skills to impact, broaden and innovate the social entrepreneurship field; and create a support network of law students invested in pattern-breaking, sustainable and scalable ideas for change. Columbia Law School In partnership with the Center for Public Interest Law & Law Students for Social Enterprise (LSSE) at Columbia Law School, Indego Africa runs the Indego Africa Fellowship Program where Columbia Law students (about 3-4 each semester) earn pro-bono credit for assisting Indego Africa on a variety of projects. Indego Africa also participates in a variety of social entrepreneurship symposiums hosted by LSSE. Kellog School of Management From September through December 2009, as part of the class "Leading Mission Driven Enterprises," four incredibly talented Kellogg students dug deep into the inner workings of Indego Africa. The result: a professional and insightful paper about Indego Africa. African Social Enterprise Forum Indego Africa was a founding member and participant in the inaugural African Social Enterprise Forum at the Desmond Tutu Center in New York City in September of 2009.
