YOUR INVESTMENT IN ACTION

Our artisan partners have incredible energy and creativity, but few opportunities. By donating to Indego Africa, you can deliver those opportunities to them right now. Yet you are doing more than simple giving; you are making an INVESTMENT in the long-term future of women with great needs but great potential. With our experience and emphasis on TRANSPARENCY, we ensure your donation directly improves the lives of women through:Image

  • Skills Training and Education Programs (from counting to computers)
  • Workplace Improvements (like electricity and running water)
  • Capital Equipment (such as sewing machines and laptops)
  • Cooperative Leadership Workshops (to improve management)

Your donation goes towards our award-winning Hand Up program in Rwanda, which has been recognized by the Skandalaris Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation because of its progressive approach to development.  Indego Africa seeks to break the "aid dependence paradigm" by giving its partners a stake in their own development.  This is accomplished when your investment is paired with 100% of profits from handicraft sales.
