The Indego Africa fundraiser season for Fall 2007 has finally wrapped up. Thanks to everyone that came out, learned a bit about us and gave of their time and money. San Francisco: November 1 (Thursday) at Bissap Baobab in the Mission (2323 Mission at 19th Street). Thanks to Marco at Bissap Baobab for his unusual commitment to our organization. Chicago: October 11 at aliveOne in Lincoln Park - a more intimate gathering, but a successful night nonetheless! NY: October 3 at Stone Creek Bar & Lounge in Manhattan - IAP raised the most funds to date and the turn-out was incredible. See photos from the event.
DC: September 19 at Liberty Tavern in Arlington, VA - a great way to start off our fundraising season! Thanks to everyone who came, particularly Sarah Zinn, who donated her raffle winnings to IAP.

Indego Africa's wine coasters and agaseke baskets were featured at the 2008 Academy Awards as part of the "Gifting for a Cause" gift bags given to more than 70 celebrities, such as April Scott of CSI: Miami (above). The gift suites are "exclusive and very selective" and Indego Africa's participation reflected their mission of "devis[ing] a gift that was trendsetting, philanthropic, multicultural and of personal interest to the celebrities."
