Indego Africa at the ACADEMY AWARDS!
Wednesday, 09 April 2008
Indego Africa is proud to announce that its wine coasters and agaseke baskets were featured products at the 2008 Academy Awards.  As part of its "Gifting for a Cause" promotion, VRI Entertainment included Indego Africa products in the gift bags given to celebrities at the pre-Oscar party suites.  More than 70 celebrities took home a piece of Rwanda to display in their homes, such as April Scott from the hit show CSI: Miami (see right).  Raye Mitchell, owner of VRI, noted that the gift suites are "exclusive and very selective" and Indego Africa's participation reflected their mission of "devis[ing] a gift that was trendsetting, philanthropic, multicultural and of personal interest to the celebrities."  Indego Africa's "must-have" products certainly fit the bill.
