Refugee-Made
These pieces are handcrafted by Burundian and Congolese female refugees at the Mahama and Kigeme Refugee Camps in Rwanda. Created in partnership with MADE51, a brand connecting refugee artisans with global markets, brought to life by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.
MADE51 is a collaborative initiative and global brand of refugee-made products, bought to life by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency. Through MADE51, social enterprises around the world work with refugee artisan groups to make ethical, handcrafted products. Together, we are creating dignified opportunities for refugees to earn income and build brighter futures by making use of their valuable skills and heritage.
