"I want the world to know that refugees are just like others. We are as capable of working and learning as anybody else."

- Gloriose, Akeza Cooperative, Mahama Refugee Camp, Rwanda

After fleeing violence and insecurity, the opportunity to work and earn a living is one of the most effective ways refugees can rebuild their lives in dignity and peace. Indego is helping female refugees in Rwanda improve their livelihoods and build long-term careers in the global artisan industry by integrating them into our global supply chain and investing in their education.

Today, we commemorate the strength, courage, and perseverance of all refugees around the world.

Indego's refugee partners in Rwanda embody strength, courage, and resiliency.

They fled unimaginable violence and persecution in Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Together with Indego Africa, they learned to weave and manage their own artisan businesses.

In honor of World Refugee Day, we're asking you to show your support for Indego's Economic Inclusion for Refugees program.
